Has it ever been copied to an irrelevant email thread that overflows your inbox and raises alerts for a conversation that might interest you no less? Here's how to ignore this thread so you'll never see it again.

First select a message from the thread. On the Home menu, click the Ignore button.
You can also right-click the message and select "Ignore" from the shortcut menu, or click the "Ignore" button to open mail and click Message> Ignore. Regardless of the method selected, Outlook displays a confirmation window.
Click Ignore Conversation to move all emails in the conversation to the Deleted Items folder. Future messages in the conversation will also be transferred directly to the Deleted Items folder without triggering new message alerts
. If you do not want to immediately delete all emails from the conversation, but still do not want to worry about them when they come in, you can do that as well. Just set up a rule that marks these messages as read and moves them from your inbox to another folder as they arrive.
