Gestures are a big deal on an iPhone X, X S X S Max, and X R . Without a home button on Apple's Super Premium smartphones, several actions had to be gestured instead, affecting other areas of the system, such as the Control Center.
An example of these new gestures is the return to the splash screen by swiping from the bottom edge of any screen. But wait – is not that the gesture to open the control center?
