Combine the simplicity of a gift card with the simplicity of shopping with Alexa, and you have a Christmas magic. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but if you're reluctant to go into overcrowded stores and figure out what to buy to buy the person who has everything, Alex & # 39; s new gift card – GiftJoy – seems like one real holiday miracle.
For those of you who think gift cards are a gift, guess again. For the twelfth year in a row, gift cards are the most popular Christmas gift on the people's wish list, according to the National Retail Federation's 201
Now that I've shared this treat, you need to know the following to order gift cards from Alexa.
Which cards can I order?
The GiftJoy Alexa skill works at over 100 retailers. Some popular options are Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, Target, Starbucks, Fandango, Sephora, Kohl's, Applebee's, Domino's, Uber, Old Navy and Nike. A full list of retailers can be found here.
How to Order a Gift Card
Ordering a gift card with the GiftJoy skill requires a few steps, but it's still easier than going to the store.
First activate the skill by going to the skill page of GiftJoy Alexa. Next, say "Alexa, ask GiftJoy to send a gift card (name)." Alexa will guide you through the purchase and shipping process.
After that you will receive an SMS with a link to your order. Clicking on the link takes you to a page where you can either confirm or edit your order.
Once the order is completed, your friend or family member will receive a text message with a link to his gift. You can use your gift card online or in a shop. If they really do not like the card, they can exchange it for a card from another dealer for free.
It's not too late to send greeting cards.
