7th Generation iPad Prices

Apple's new iPad costs $ 329 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model and $ 459 for the LTE-enabled 32GB mobile model. If the memory is increased to 128 GB, the total cost of each configuration increases by $ 100. Educational discounts bring the starting price to $ 300.

In the UK, iPads cost from £ 349, LTE models from £ 479. In Australia, prices start at AU $ 529 and AU $ 689 for LTE.

What's the difference between this and the 6.7-inch 6th generation model from 2018?

Not much. As mentioned earlier, the larger 10.2-inch Retina display that replaces the 9.7-inch screen that has been used since the first generation iPad in 2010. The new iPad now has a docking port for the Apple Smart Keyboard for $ 159, but both models seem to have the same A10 processor. If you are satisfied with your 9.7 inch model, you should not be in a hurry to upgrade.

Will the price for this also drop to $ 250?

Time will tell, but that was de facto the price of the 9.7-inch iPad since it came on the market in March 2018. And aside from this little extra screen area, the new model and the previous one look almost interchangeable – so for the 32 GB version of both, we would not pay more than $ 250.
