How To Personalize Your Android Phone With Themes And Starters

  Android phone with custom launcher

The adaptability of Android devices is one of the reasons many people prefer this. You can change the look, behavior, and function of Android phones with themes, custom starters, and icon packs. Getting Started:

Some phones let you install themes, while all Android phones can install custom launcher and icon packs. With virtually unlimited launcher and icon pack customizations, you can make your phone unique.

First step: Choose a theme (only some phones)

  Themes in the Play Store

On some Android phones, you can choose a theme for the phone dialer, the messenger, the settings app and other integrated applications. This is usually as simple as choosing between light and dark backgrounds, but it can not be an all-or-nothing affair. For example, the pixel row does not allow users to choose between light and dark themes for the Settings menu. The "Quick Settings" menu, the phone dialer, the messenger, and some (but not all) of Google's other applications can be toggled individually in lighter and darker modes.

Using a Galaxy brand flagship gives you access to Samsung's fantastic theme storage. This will allow you to change the icons used in the Samsung boot program, the color of the Settings menu and quick settings, the Samsung messaging app, the phone dialer, and other built-in applications. You can also change the appearance of the navigation buttons. The topic used by me (called Material Dark) can be z. For example, the navigation buttons look like on Vanilla Android phones. Finally, with Samsung Themes, you can download different designs for your always-on display, so you can show a little personal flair even when your phone is just sitting on a table.

If you can not get topic options with your phone manufacturer's built-in apps, you can always use another app from the Play Store. You can use Google Messages to send SMS and Solid Explorer to browse files and to switch between dark and light themes within these apps.

Second Step: Select a Launcher

In the Launcher you will find the biggest problem opportunity to customize your phone. The starter is the first thing you see when you unlock your phone and where you are when you're not using an app. Apart from an aesthetic choice, you can also use gestures to navigate faster with launcher.

 Custom Launcher on Android Screen

Nova Launcher is always popular. There's a free version that lets you use icon packs, resize icons, choose between folder and font options, use app shortcuts, and more. The free version is probably more customizable than the launcher shipped on your phone, but the paid version offers even more options for just $ 5. My favorite features of the paid version are gestures and the ability to hide apps from the app drawer. I see a total of four apps in my app drawer because I've hidden all the apps in my home screen folder and the ones I'm not using frequently.

You can also add a gesture to your Home screen by reopening Nova Settings. Then choose Gestures & Inputs to change the gesture settings, and use the Home button to return to the launcher and test the gestures.

Action Launcher is also popular. It offers the best features of Google Pixel Launcher for any Android device, including older versions of Android. You get full support for icon packs as well as the ability to automatically resize icons to make them more consistent. One of the unique features is Shutters: Swipe up on an app icon to see its widget (if any). You'll also get Action Launcher's famous Quickdrawer, which lets you scroll all apps from the left side of the screen instead of scrolling up or down on the Home screen.

The Quickdrawer is displayed on the screen .

If you do not like them, or if you just want to go through the hole of the thrower, there are many more options in the Play Store. Try it and then choose one that suits you best.

Third Step: Download an Icon Pack and Wallpapers

 Icons in the Play Store

Icon packs are the icing on the cake. There are thousands of icon packs to choose from. I go back and forth between Whicons and Moonshine Pro, depending on how much color I want to see. Most icon packs cost less than a dollar – if the developer calculates – so you can try multiple packs without damaging the bank. Remember, you probably need a custom starter before you can use an icon pack.

 Wallpapers in the Play Store

Wallpapers are also a great way to highlight your phone. Your phone probably has some background images to get you started, but apps like Backdrops have even more choices. You can also always set a picture of your children, your pet or your favorite animal as wallpaper.

You do not have to use all of them on your phone. Even a new wallpaper will lift your phone from the crowd. No matter which starter or what symbols you use, your phone will really be yours.
