With the beautiful, large displays from Samsung, the Galaxy S and Note series are ideal for multitasking. This goes beyond the hardware with tools like split-screen mode, floating windows, bubbles, and picture-in-picture mode. And in One UI 3.0, the last one becomes even more useful.
A user interface 3.0 running on Android 11 offers the ability to adjust the size of the floating video player in PiP mode. The maximum size is almost double that of the previous version, so you can watch more videos in this mode.
Trigger PiP on any supported app by playing a video or activating turn-by-turn navigation. Then either swipe up to go home or tap the home button. In some cases, the video may need to be viewed in full screen first.
With PiP mode active, tap the window to bring up the play / pause controls. Drag one of the four corners outwards while they are still visible. This will enlarge the window and stop at the desired location. To reduce the size, simply reverse the direction of drag. Note, however, that the initial size is the lowest available.
