Google Maps allows you to set home and work locations for quick access to navigation. In fact, these two places are so central to the Maps experience that the app can be a little nervous if you haven't saved both. However, if you work from home, you only need to use one address. So what should you do?
With Google Maps, you can save the same address as at home and at work, but entering your home location as your work address will remove the "Home" label and vice versa. To get around this, you need to use an alternative method. It doesn't give you any significant new features, but once you've set your locations in this way, Maps will at least no longer ask you to set your work address.
Set your house as a place of work
Open Google Maps and open the main menu by tapping on your user avatar in the search bar at the top right. Then click on "Settings" in the menu and then select "Edit home or work" on the following page.
