How to set “Do Not Disturb” auto reply message on iPhone

If you have Do Not Disturb turned on on your iPhone and someone sends you a text message, they may get an “Auto Reply”

First open “Settings” by tapping the gray gear icon. It’s usually located on the first page of your home screen.

Under Settings, tap Do Not Disturb.

In Do Not Disturb Settings, scroll down until you see the auto-reply options. Tap Auto Answer.

On the next screen, tap the text entry area and enter any message. Depending on your preferences (which we explain below), this message will be automatically sent to people who send you a message while Do Not Disturb is turned on.

When you’re done entering your message, tap Back.

Enter the auto reply message in

To change who receives an auto-reply message, in the Do Not Disturb options, tap Auto-Reply To.

You’ll see a list of options, including Nobody (this disables the automatic reply), Recent (people who recently texted), Favorites (people in your favorite contacts list), or All Contacts ” (All in your contact list). Tap the option you want to select.

Under Recipients, select Automatically reply

When you’re done, tap Back and exit Settings. Enjoy your rest!
