Verizon's 5G broadband home network service, Verizon 5G Home, will launch in selected areas at $ 50 on October 1
Where is it available?
Verizon 5G Home will be available from October 1 in Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Sacramento. but not everyone in these cities will be able to get access to this internet service.
What does Verizon offer?
There are admittedly some good freebies that flow here – free installation, three months free service, a free Chromecast or Apple TV 4K ($ 179 at Walmart) and three months of free YouTube TV plus priority when buying the first 5G mobile device, as it becomes available.
Is there a catch?
There is a tiny star if you ask a few critics. Despite the ability to deliver high speeds, Verizon's 5G Home Service is technically not 5G, as this early launch uses non-industry standard technology (learn more about the basics of 5G). Once Verizon switches to industry-standard 5G devices, the company can expand service to new markets.
