Switching from one popular music streaming service to another should not be a problem, but you want to transfer all your favorite music over , No popular service offers built-in functionality to export or import playlists. So, if you want to move your favorite Apple Music playlists to Spotify, you'll need to use a third-party service.
Using SongShift for iOS and With Soundiiz on Android, you can easily transfer your favorite Apple Music playlists to Spotify. Although the two applications differ in the transfer process, you can do the same with both. And best of all, it does not cost you a penny.
: Transferring Apple Music Playlists to Spotify (iOS)
You can download SongShift to your iPhone for free from the iOS App Store. If you need more features, there's a $ 4.99 Pro version that lets you play multiple playlists at once, skip steps to speed up the transfer process, fix incorrect or mismatched tracks, automatically update playlists, and more Remove Ads, and more. Depending on how many playlists you have, the free version may be all you need.
Step 1: Connect your Apple Music account  Tap the blue plus sign (+) in the bottom of SongShift. We'll start connecting to Apple Music (next, connect your Spotify account). Click New Configurations on "Setup Source" and then tap "Connect More" to see the full list of streaming services available in SongShift. (Note that SongShift transfers "postpone" transfers.)
Next to Apple Music, tap "Connect" at the top of the list, then "Authorize" and "OK" to grant SongShift access to your account. If you encounter problems, iCloud Music Library may not be enabled (try again) or you may need to grant SongShift permissions on the Media & Apple Music page at Privacy in your Settings app.  Step 2: Connect Your Spotify Account
Once your Apple Music account is connected to SongShift, you can connect your Spotify account. After connecting Apple Music, you will be sent back to the list Music Services . Scroll down and touch "Connect" next to Spotify. Either sign in with your Facebook account or with Spotify credentials and tap "Agree".
If you've connected SongShift to your two music streaming services, swipe down the Music Services list in the bar at the top of the modal window. Now tap "Source Setup" again and you'll see icons for your two streaming service accounts. Tap Apple Music, and then click Select Media Type on "Playlist." Select the playlist you want to transfer and tap Select at the top right.
In the free version, you can only transfer one playlist at a time. If you need to transfer multiple playlists at the same time or merge multiple playlists into one, you need the Pro version.
On the Layer Setup page, tap "Setup Destination "and select Spotify as the destination. Under Target Type, select "New Playlist" and you're ready to go. You can tap the edit icon next to "Create a new playlist" to enter a new name for the playlist in Spotify. Keep the name you had in Apple Music, however. Click "I'm Finished" to start the transfer.
SongShift then begins to sync the tracks from your playlist to Spotify. Depending on how many tracks the playlist contains, this can take a few seconds or about a minute. Once the playlist has been reconciled, you can tap it to see if the songs are correctly assigned.
If a match failed, you can tap Ignore to delete the song from the playlist. There is also a "re-match" option, which is only available in the Pro version. If a song is not mapped correctly, tap the edit icon to either remove the song from the playlist (free) or search for it (pro). When you have reviewed the songs, tap Confirm matches to complete the transfer.
After a few seconds SongShift completes the transfer. When finished, you can view the transferred playlist to do any of the following.
- Remove shift : Delete the playlist from SongShift (but not from the music streaming services).
- Scan Latest : Update the transferred playlist when new titles are added to the original.
- Monitor : Automatically update the transferred playlist for new tracks (Pro version).
Open Spotify and tap "Your Library" at the bottom of the navigation bar to find your newly transferred playlist. Below is the original Apple Music playlist and Spotify's new playlist.
SongShift is not available on Android in the web browser of your choice to transfer your Apple Music playlists to Spotify instead. The use of the Site is free, and although there is a Pro version, you do not need any of these features in this guide.
Go to Soundiiz.com in your mobile web browser and tap "Start Now" to either create a new account or sign in to your existing account. After verifying your e-mail address (if you've created an account), you'll be redirected to the page that has the playlist transfer feature. From there, tap the "x" from the top right to display it.
Step 2: Connect your Apple Music account
Now you need to connect your Apple Music account to Soundiiz so that the website can access playlists and transfer them to Spotify. Tap the Apple Music icon and log in to your account. If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will need to enter the code that will be sent to your phone. Then tap "Allow". All your Apple Music playlists will be displayed in Soundiiz.
Select the check box next to the Apple Music playlist you want to transfer, and then tap the conversion icon (the small square that points an arrow toward a larger square). Keep in mind that with the Pro version ($ 4.50 per month), you can transfer playlists of more than 100 titles and more than one playlist at a time.
You're taken to a new page where you can change the playlist Name of the playlist, enter a description, remove multiple songs, and make the playlist public or private (only works with certain services). Touch "Save configuration" to continue. On the next page, check the playlist and make sure the tracks are correct. If not, disable all songs to delete them from the playlist. When you're done, click "Confirm Tracklist".
Now tap the Spotify icon and log in to your account. If you click "Agree", the transfer of your playlist begins.
The transfer process may take a few seconds, or about a minute, depending on the length of the playlist. When you are done, you can tap Show to see the playlist in Soundiiz if you want to make changes. If you're editing the playlist, you'll need to sync again.
Your Apple Music playlist is now available in Spotify. Open Spotify, tap "your library" and find the playlist. Tap to see it. Below you can see the two playlists of the respective music streaming service.
