Fortnite Season 2 is here, along with the latest collaboration between Epic Games and Disney. After crossovers with Avengers and Star Wars, the last one is with Deadpool. Players can unlock an official skin after the crazy Merc with one mouth, but not as you might expect.
You cannot buy the Fortnite Deadpool Skin
. In contrast to almost all other crossover skins in the history of Fortnite you cannot get the Deadpool outfit by buying from the item shop. Instead, you'll have to unlock it through various challenges this season. It's not just a challenge either, as there are new weekly challenges that you have to complete to earn them.
This situation is similar to the Season X Fortbytes situation, where players have to wait patiently to unlock this skin. For this reason, we recommend that you review every week what new challenges are available and how you can overcome them.
Although you can't buy the Deadpool skin directly, you'll need to purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass. Access some missions each week. Players without the premium season pass cannot earn this crossover skin.
Where can I find Deadpool's hiding place?
The weekly Deadpool challenges are hidden and can only be found in his secret hideaway. You can find this room by going to the "Battle Pass" tab in the main lobby. This will take you to the Secret Agent room where you have to click on the opening on the right side of the room as marked in the screenshot above.
This takes you to the secret hideaway in Deadpool, which is just a secluded bathroom.
Deadpool Week 1 Challenges: Find Deadpool's Letter
Some Deadpool missions are available in season one week 2. You can access it from the computer in its hiding place. Here are the challenges for week 1:
- Find Deadpool's letter to Epic Games
- Don't thank the bus driver
Both goals in week 1 are simple enough. The first is to find the letter Deadpool wrote to Epic Games. This letter is in the same room as the computer and is on the left of it on the floor. All you have to do is leave the computer and interact with it to complete Part 1.
The second challenge is a pretty gruesome one, where you don't have to thank the bus driver for his hard work. Jump into any Battle Royale match and jump off the bus whenever you want without thanking the bus driver. Essentially, do nothing but jump out, and you will automatically achieve this goal when you jump off the bus.
Although the skin won't be unlocked until later in the season, you will immediately receive 1 reward for completing this week. This week's reward is a Deadpool banner.
