Now you can schedule emails to be sent on a specific day and time . It's very similar to the boomerang, except it's built right into Gmail, which makes it millions of times more convenient. You can schedule emails up to 49 years in advance.

Planning your emails for future submission is useful if you:

  • did not want your email to be lost in shuffle because you sent them late at night or while emailing the big game
  • I do not want to be the joke sending a work email on a Saturday

    Select Send Schedule from the drop-down arrow.

    When you're done creating your email and ready to schedule it:

    Step 1: Find the drop-down arrow near the submit button.

    Step 2: Click the arrow and then click "Send Schedule".

    Step 3: A menu is displayed where you can select the date and time of the e-mail you want to send.

    Step 4 : Select the time and click "Schedule Send". The lower left corner displays a message box with the message "Send scheduled for …" in which you can undo or display the message if an error occurs.

    Using the Gmail app on your phone or tablet

    Schedule the date and time for this Sending an e-mail.

    From your mobile phone, look for the three stacked points.

    Step 1: If you're using the Gmail app to send an e-mail, you'll find the stacked three dots in the upper-right corner.

    Step 2: Tap the points and choose Send Schedule.

    Step 3: From there, a menu is displayed where you can insert the date and time of your shipment.

    Step 4 : Click Submit Schedule. The lower left corner displays a message box with the message "Send scheduled for …". You can undo the action or view your message.

    What if I need to update or delete the email?

    If you still do not want to send the email, you can delete it anyway. You can reach it before the scheduled time.

    Simply click "Scheduled" in the main menu, select the email you want to delete and select "Cancel send".

    If you need to update the time or date when the email should be sent, cancel the process. Email. A draft is displayed where you can edit the contents of the e-mail and repeat the above steps.
