Browsing for cool GIFs and stickers can take more time than required, and you'll probably never find one you want or you accidentally skip the one you're looking for. The search makes it easy to complement your conversation with the best media the Internet has to offer. Find a GIF from your favorite show or download a sticker pack based on a popular movie. Whatever you need, thanks to Telegram's search function, you can quickly find it.
How to search for GIFs in telegram chats
On an iPhone, tap the sticker in the chat bar. If you're using Android, either tap the smiley, sticker, or GIF icon in the chat bar, whichever you last used. Next, select the GIF tab, if it's not already open, and tap the Find GIFs box (if you do not see it, drag it down to show it). The GIF search of the telegram is displayed. Use the keyboard to enter a keyword for everything you need. The results are displayed instantly, so you do not have to tap a search button or anything else.
Before you tap on a GIF you want, you need to know that it's automatically sent to the person or group you're chatting with. In addition, the GIF is stored in the Saved GIFs list below the search bar. Before you commit, you can preview the GIF in larger form by long-pressing it and sliding your finger up the image where you can tap Send or Send GIF when you're satisfied.
Using Long Pressing and Swiping on a GIF also lets you view the option "Save GIF" or "Save to GIFs" for iOS and Android.
Saved GIFs, whether saved manually or automatically, appear in the "GIF" tab. It may be convenient to save GIFs for later use, but sometimes a GIF is good only once. If you want to get rid of something, you can easily do this by long pressing on the GIF. Once you see it over the page, swipe up and tap "Delete." Poof – your GIF disappears immediately without you having to confirm it.
Finding labels is a bit more complicated than GIFs, though it does not appear to be intended. Tap the sticker in the chat bar to search for labels on iOS. If you're using Android, either tap the smiley, sticker, or GIF icon in the chat bar, whichever you last used. From here, things are a little different than on Android and iOS.
Tap the tab with the sticker icon if it does not already exist. If you have not yet saved any sticker sets, you can only search the trend sticker packs or do a search by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left. If you already have sticker packs, you can click on this magnifying glass, but you can also drag down the current sticker pack to reveal the Find Sticker Packages box.
Enter a keyword and then find a package you like. Tap "Add" and it will be added immediately. You can browse your sticker packs at the top of the sticker menu – select an icon to view this pack, or click the sticker icon with the plus sign (+) to browse the trend sticker packs.
Once you have a sticker pack When you're on the Stickers tab, they'll appear as new options at the top of the Trend Stickers option. Touch one and then the sticker you want to send. Like GIFs, stickers are sent immediately upon tapping.
You must have already added a sticker package to search for other sticker packages. Tap the tab with the trend sticker icon (a circle with a zigzag arrow) if it does not already exist. Browse and add one of the trend packages by tapping Add (you can delete it later).
Then tap the new "Sticker Pack" tab that appears. Swipe down the list and find the "Find Stickers" box. Now search for a GIF as usual and tap "Add" if you like one.
Once you have one or two sticker packs, these are displayed as new options on the "Stickers" tab, the Trend sticker option. Touch one and then the sticker you want to send. Like GIFs, stickers are sent immediately upon tapping.
Additionally, you can use emojis in the "Find Stickers" box, but more importantly, you can just type emojis in the box. A normal chat window without going to the Stickers tab , and suggestions for stickers are displayed above the keyboard. If this does not work for you, tap the gear icon in the Stickers tab to see the chat settings. Then choose Suggest Suggestions from Emoji and choose whether you want to use them for all phrases or just for your added phrases.
Tap a sticker to instantly add it to a chat, or long press to display the "View Sticker Set" (iOS) or "View Pack" (Android) option Packages can see.
