We speculated that Huawei will show a foldable 5G phone at MWC 2019. Occasionally, a good tech rumor comes into question.
No, MWC is not a wrestling championship, it's Mobile World Congress, one of the largest three-day mobile tech shows in the world. Headquartered in Barcelona, MWC is a popular venue for manufacturers to showcase their products, and it became a competitive month for phone manufacturers every February.
If you did not notice, this was definitely a competitive month for the phone manufacturer. There are all kinds of rumors about 5G and foldable technology, and Samsung has strategically tackled advanced new hardware.
Today, Huawei has taken a step further. Yang ChaoBin, president of the Huawei 5G product line, took to the stage at at a Huawei pre-MWC preliminary meeting to discuss how the advanced KI and 5G technology for Huawei products a year 2019 is used. At the same time, thanking the audience for his patience, he occasionally announced that Huawei will present a foldable 5G phone at MWC 2019 on February 24th.
"We look forward to meeting you in Barcelona in February, where we will introduce the world's first 5G smartphone with a foldable screen." 19659007] As you can imagine, Huawei is probably trying to create a hype for his MWC conference. The company may also have dropped this announcement to avoid being overshadowed by Samsung. There are rumors circulating that Samsung will livestream its foldable phone, which was tested at the end of last year, four days before Huawei enters MWC's stage. If these rumors are true (they are, let's be real here), then maybe people are too involved in Samsung's leaflet to notice Huawei's announcement.
If you're trying to attend this historic conference then you want to buy it as soon as possible, because Huawei Keynote will be in Barcelona on February 24th at 2:00 pm. Or you can try livestreaming at 8 o'clock EST no matter what your boat is swimming.
