If you install a screen protector yourself, this is one of the worst things ever hit. It's so bad that I went to an Apple store and paid them $ 42.75. I regret nothing.
Anyone who has ever tried to install a screen protector knows exactly what I'm talking about ̵
CONNECTION: Need Your smartphone really has a screen protector?
I finally threw in the towel and went to an Apple Store. I knew there were special little doohickies that could install a perfect screen protector on your new iPhone every time. The results are always fantastic.
A Closer Look at the Special Little Doohickies
The screen protectors shown in Apple Stores are actually from Belkin's design, the ScreenCare + Application System the iPhone and the screen protector in the slots (which align everything for you) Cover and peel off the protective films. A trained seal could probably do that.
The ScreenCare + system is owned by Apple Stores, although T-Mobile stores also have something similar to Belkin's. Unfortunately, the public can not buy these devices for themselves, so we farmers are old-fashioned.
You can buy screen protectors that are outfitted with cheap frames that make setting up the devices a little easier Screen Protector, but it's not quite the same as Belkin's application systems.
You pay for service
If you go to an Apple store and look at the screen protectors for sale, you can easily beat the $ 39.95 price of the Belkin InvisiGlass Ultra toughened glass screen protector. After all, nobody out of their mind would spend $ 39.95 on screen protection to install it themselves. Instead, most of us would go to Amazon and buy something like that four-color, tempered-glass 14-inch screen protector from an unnamed brand, which is just $ 4.67 per screen protector.
But here's the kicker: Apple will install "Screen Protectors" for free as long as you buy one from the Apple Store. So you should think more about how the installation service is included in the price. That's not bad for a business after all is said and done.
So, if you pay just over $ 40 (with taxes) for a screen protector in an Apple Store, you're really mainly paying for the convenience that Apple has installed for you. It makes me at least a little better if I think so about it. I would never spend so much on a screen protector if I had to install it myself.
