Do you need to spend a lot of money to get ergonomic equipment for your computer? No, but you have to make a few compromises. That's the idea behind the vertical mouse from iClever.

However, if you just need some relief from your wrist-joint repeated strain, the iClever is ready for you. I used the iClever for hours of desktop work a day and was as comfortable as the more expensive options.

    The iClever, however, lacks the comfort of creatures. Luckily, it's wireless – winding a mouse cable destroys the purpose. It is limited to a standard 2.4GHz USB receiver without the Bluetooth option. You also need to dig out two AAA batteries (not included) for it to work. If you want advanced keyboard shortcuts or superspecific customization, you will not find them here because no software can be found.

    The Fundamentals can be found here . The wheel turns and clicks, and there are back and forth buttons for your thumb. There is a button to set the sensitivity of the 2400 DPI optical sensor and four hard-coded presets. The mouse is light and moves on a pad, and the keys are frighteningly quiet when you want to be unobtrusive in the office. In short, it works!

    There are some bright spots. For example, there is a nice little groove for your little finger to keep your hand in the right position. If you travel with your equipment, there is also a hiding place for the USB dongle near the battery compartment. And most ergonomic mice are probably walking because people usually opt for them instead of using a trackpad.
