We all know that it is difficult for the keyboard of the iPhone to accept the fact that people like to curse. How many times have you typed the swear word of your choice perfectly so that the keyboard changes it to "Ducking" or "Shut" without your permission? Sometimes you just have to let it out.
Over time, your iPhone gives in and lets you talk like a sailor. At least that was the case until the new swipe keyboard for iOS 1
I tried using the wipe-based Slide to Type keyboard for iOS 13 so I can use as much profanity as I want. Here I have had the greatest success:
. 1 Open the Settings App.
2. Select General from the list.
3. Then tap Keyboard .
4. Type text replacement and then the + button.
5. Enter the word of your choice in the phrases box and tap Save .
6. Create as many text links as you like.
After creating a text link, you should be able to swear with a swipe.
In my experience, it takes a few tries for the keyboard to recognize the correct word. Most of the time, the word will be displayed in the leftmost text box for the first wiping movements. When that happens, tap the word to tell iOS 13 what you want to type and stop teaching your phone to be right.
Maybe this is just a bug in the beta of iOS 13, and when it's officially released we can fix it with ease. Apple did not respond immediately to a request for comments.
You can now install iOS 13 if you want to try out all the new features, such as: For example, a dark mode, blocking unknown callers, and new photo and editing tools. – As long as you do not mind handling mistakes.
