Just a few hours after the release of dev beta 5 on Monday, October 22, Apple released iOS 12.1 public beta 5 for software testers. The update came just a week after the company distributed the fourth 12.1 beta to developers and public testers and continued the weekly update schedule established in the previous releases.
We recommend that all testers download and install iOS 12.1 Public Beta 5 as soon as possible, do not be surprised if things look the same. The update seems to offer only minor bug fixes and security patches and no new features for beta 4 testers.
