We're Almost There – Apple released the seventh iOS 12 beta for developers on Monday, August 13th. Although beta testers are not entirely unexpected, they know how difficult it is to predict the next update, as Apple has been switching randomly between weeks and weeks – weekly and irregular release plans for developers and public beta.
While we want every beta update to include cool new features, dev beta 7 just seems to contain minor bug fixes and security patches. However, should any new changes of interest become known, we will ensure that they are included here.
To upgrade your iPhone to all iOS 12 developers who have Beta 7, you must first be a registered developer with a valid configuration profile. If you've enabled iOS 1
Resolved Issues
Here are the issues fixed in dev beta 7.
Known Issues
Listed here are all bugs, both new and old.
Public testers currently do not have access to the beta version, but do not worry – Apple usually no longer publishes public beta 24 hours after its developer update. In fact, iOS 12 public beta 5 only releases hours after dev beta 6, so keep an eye out if Apple repeats this schedule.
Although no official release date has been set for iOS 12, we know that the public will have access to the update as of this fall. However, as we are now in beta 7, the official update is most likely on us. Apple usually does not do more than eight beta versions. If the company does not change everything this time, sooner or later we might see iOS 12.
