When Apple released iOS 13 in September the company changed the way you rearrange the icons on the home screen and delete apps. The long press of app icons did not work as it did since the original iPhone was launched, which was downright confusing.

With the release of iOS 13.2 Apple introduces changes that simplify the reordering and removal of app icons on the home screens. When you get used to the new method, you may experience a slight learning curve, but after using it a couple of times, you should feel at home in the process.

You still start with a long press on an app icon. It is expected that the app icons will start to wobble and move. Instead, a pop-up menu with multiple options appears. After moving your apps or removing old apps from your phone, just tap Done .
