We spent weeks in the beta testing phase for developers with iOS 1

3 and iPadOS and are now available as public beta. So we have a clear picture of how the new OS updates work and what kind of questions you may have that we can answer. With the release of iOS 13, Apple makes your iPhone faster, smarter, and safer. New features include the gesture-based QuickPath keyboard (19459014), Unknown Caller Blocking Tool (19459005), new Photo Editing Tools (19459005), and Dedicated Dark Mode (19459014). ,

There are also new maps tools that finally close the loophole to Android security features such as Signing in to Apple and the ability to customize memoji avatars . New tools also make your iPad ($ 249 at Walmart) more productive.

With iOS 13, Apple once again challenges Google's Android Q in an endless battle for the most powerful, private, and easy-to-use operating system. Sounds dramatic, but with Android on about 90% of the world's phones, Apple has to give up work to preserve its status and reputation.

Although we know a lot about the key features of iOS 13 – remember, we used them first hand – Apple could unlock even more features from iOS 13 with the announcement of the iPhone 11 . Restrained some surprises related to the big September revelation.

Apple's ability to win buyers with iOS 13 is particularly important in 2019. iPhone sales slow in step with competitors around the world blackboard. In the meantime, the next iPhones are likely to lag behind their Android rivals, with support for 5G speeds, periscope zoom, and a stand-alone night mode for ultra-clear camera shots. Over the years, however, Apple has proven that it can create essential software tools and apps, such as FaceTime video and iMessage .

Faster Wi-Fi Network Selection

For years, we've thought it useful to connect to Wi-Fi networks through the Control Center instead of having to go to a network to open App Settings ,

With iOS 13, Apple has finally made it possible to view available networks and connect without ever opening the settings. Hallelujah. For us this fixes one of the most annoying quirks of the iPhone.

QuickPath on iOS 13 does not have to be exact.

This Extra Keyboard

Android users have skipped their keyboards to enter them through a range of third-party apps such as Swype and SwiftKey. Apple has finally added the feature that lets you trace a word to phrase it.

Apple calls it QuickPath Typing. Theoretically, it's faster and just as accurate as wiping on the virtual keyboard, and you still get spelling suggestions as you move on.

This feature is especially useful for one-handed typing and is ready to use. If you install iOS 13, see How to Use QuickPath on iOS 13 .

Dark Mode for All

Dark Mode Replacing the usual bright screen with a dark screen is available for all major iOS 13 apps, including Calendar, Music, and Video photo apps.

This seems to be system-wide, but we have to see if there are exceptions. Dark Mode is a popular trend for all apps and will also apply to Android Q . Here's everything we know about Dark Fashion for iPhone .

Photos app adds video editing tools

The photos app has been completely redesigned. Organizing and editing photos is now easier and the editing tools have a new look. Most impressive, however, is the ability to use all known video editing tools in the photo app.

Yes, that means you can apply filters, adjust the brightness, and even crop a video right in the photo app. This is what you need to know about photos in iOS 13.

Hidden Features

One of the best things about using new software is finding features that have not yet been announced. Often, these features are most notable in a major update, and iOS 13 has a fair share of hidden features.

Of course hidden features must actually be discovered, so the current list of hidden features to highlight is currently 11. If we find out more, this list will certainly grow.

Read more: 11 hidden features were found in iOS 13 and iPadOS.

Custom Fonts in Apps

Apple restricts the selection of fonts for iOS as a whole; However, the company is opening iOS 13 to allow custom fonts in apps.

The added flexibility may be an indicator that Apple loses control of all aspects of the user experience. We have not had a chance to give it a try, but rest assured, once Apple releases new fonts in the App Store, we'll have it all behind us. This is all we know about Installing, Managing and Downloading Custom iPhone Fonts .

Find my phone and find my friends Single app is now called Find My . In addition to the combination of apps, Apple added the feature of finding lost devices for people you do not even know.

If you mark one of your Apple devices as lost, Apple will overcrow the location of the device, prompting all Apple devices to look for your device's Bluetooth signal. As soon as another Apple device finds your lost phone, tablet or computer, you will receive a warning message. According to Apple, the free service is completely anonymous and encrypted.

Sign in to Apple Does Not Share Your Email Address

A new privacy feature called Logging In to Apple logs you into accounts and apps without needing to provide your email address, the Apple says it protects users from third-party applications they want to track.

This is the Apple version for logging in to Facebook and Google, with one big exception. These tools can be used to track you online, but the Apple version uses your iPhone or iPad to authenticate your credentials when you log in. They tap to authenticate with Face ID without revealing personal information about themselves.

You can also share or hide your e-mail address and ask Apple to create a random e-mail address for the app or service that will be redirected to your actual e-mail address. This will mask your actual identity without you having to use a junk account.

Apple also blocks apps that track your location over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and lets you decide whether apps should ask for permission every time they request your location information.

Memoji avatars come to news, stickers

Apple's news apps will now support memoji profiles which will add a thumbnail of your memoji (an emoji of your face) to the news app , With the new controls, you can make adjustments and make-ups, and even attach braces to your teeth. You will also receive a sticker pack for your iOS 13 devices.

iMessages now works on dual-SIM phones (unfortunately we do not have more details).

Siri finds a new voice

Apple's voice assistant Siri receives an audio update in iOS 13 . Instead of the cut-off tones that are often associated with AI, Apple hopes that the new Siri sounds gentler and more natural in your ears. Through a neural talk-to-speak network, Siri speaks with fewer gaps and less inhuman-sounding modulations.

Siri of iOS 13 also works better with AirPods ($ 159 on Amazon) the HomePod ] ($ 299 on Walmart) CarPlay and Safari:

  • With one new Shortcuts App, you can create personalized shortcuts.
  • Automations are proposed that allow you to customize your messages and create a template.
  • Siri reads messages as soon as they arrive and you can answer immediately.
  • Share a movie or song with a friend with a tap.
  • Transfer a call or music from your iPhone to your HomePod.
  • CarPlay: Siri's smart suggestions work here like suggesting that you open your garage door when you're near home.
  • Siri Suggestions is displayed in the Safari browser.
