With this year's iPhones, Apple built the success of the iPhone X in a somewhat iterative way. All three phones borrow the design of the flagship 2017, praised by many as the best in years. They've also tried to help those of us who have little more than one giant to spend on cell phones and create a new product with a few compromises.
The iPhone lineup in 2018 has something for everyone. They all largely share the same specifications, except for the camera, display and other minor aspects in the cheapest model, the iPhone X R . As for the iPhone X S and X S Max, they are really the same phone, with only the screen size and battery capacity being different.
The iPhone X S & X S Max There is more similarity between the iPhone X p and X S Max as different, which makes it easier to talk about. Both devices bring back the Super Retina display from last year's iPhone X, which uses an OLED panel. Both panels support HDR and True Tone.
The cameras are identical on both models. Both use dual 12 MP camera with OIS. One lens is wide-angle, the other is a telephoto lens that offers twice the optical zoom.
Both models have lost Touch ID and choose Face ID as the only biometric authentication method. As a result, both phones have the same 7 MP TrueDepth camera on the front. All three cameras can use portrait mode and new depth control, a feature that allows you to adjust the depth of field after taking pictures.
