What is Fitbit Premium?
Fitbit Premium is Fitbit’s monthly subscription service that unlocks additional fitness features, courses, and insights into the health of your wearable and its app. It was introduced in 2019. Fitbit is currently being taken over by Google.
What does Fitbit Premium cost? Is there a free trial version?
Fitbit Premium costs $ 9.99 per month or $ 80 per year.
At the beginning ofFitbit offered new Fitbit Premium subscribers a free 90-day trial version back in March. This free trial is still available.
Open the Fitbit app to redeem your free Fitbit Premium trial. In the lower right corner, tap the Premium tab. The trial version is only valid via the English version of the app and only for new premium users.
You still need to enter a payment method and cancel it before the trial ends to avoid being charged a subscription fee.
If you aren’t eligible for the 90-day free trial, you may still be able to redeem a 90-day trial of Fitbit Coach, which offers personalized video workouts and coaching. Fitbit Coach is available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese.
What’s in Fitbit Premium?
Fitbit Premium includes the following features that are not part of the unsubscribed Fitbit app:
Workouts: Access 150+ guided video and audio workouts from fitness brands like barre3, Daily Burn, Popsugar, and Yoga Studio by Gaiam. You can search workouts by difficulty and choose a workout plan based on your goals.
Guided programs: Here you can find step-by-step instructions on topics such as mindful eating and sleep improvement.
Health and Fitness Statistics: Track activity, weight, sleep and diet with your Fitbit and see your progress in the app.
Extended insights: Get personalized insights like your sleep score breakdown and a wellness report of your Fitbit stats. Based on this knowledge, you will also receive instructions such as: B. A bedtime checklist to improve sleep.
Mindfulness Activities: Find a library of guided audio tracks and sounds to help calm your mind for sleep, stress relief, and body positivity.
Premium challenges: Get motivated to reach your goals with challenges like Get Fit Bingo. Also invite friends who are not Premium subscribers.
Do I have to pay for Fitbit Premium when I buy a new Fitbit?
No, but Premium will unlock more health features in the coming period. The Sense contains an electrodermal activity sensor that you can press your palm against to get an overview of your overall stress. You can see the reading in a new free EDA app, but Premium members get a number of new mindfulness and meditation features that also use the sensor. You can also use many of the watch’s other new sensors (such as an SpO2 pulse oxygen sensor) for free. However, if you want long-term analysis, you need Premium.
The Fitbit Sense will include a six month free trial of Premium, and the Fitbit Inspire 2 will include a one year free trial. So you should have enough time to find out whether these features are worth paying for over the long term.
Is Fitbit Premium worth it for me?
If you own a Fitbit and want to mix up your exercise routine, there’s no harm in trying the premium 90-day free trial – especially if you’re not ready to do it just yetor your other training classes. Whether or not you want to pay $ 9.99 per month depends on how much you like (and actually take advantage of) what the subscription offers and your own budget.
It’s not hard to findto subscribe to something or find and sleeping tips online. However, if you want all of your exercise and health information to be consolidated into your Fitbit app, Premium can come in handy.
