The Biden / Harris campaign announced that the former vice president will attend an event in Durham to encourage North Carolinians to make their plan for an early vote during the state’s personal primary election.
The event is expected to take place around 1 p.m. However, details of where the event will take place have not yet been released.
After that event, Biden will attend a virtual meeting with African American faith leaders.
This is Biden’s second campaign freeze in North Carolina since the nomination. His last visit was to Charlotte, where he talked about rebuilding the US economy.
The announcement came shortly after President Donald Trump announced an election rally in Gastonia next Wednesday.
On Saturday, actress Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha pleaded for an early vote and met with Biden / Harris campaign volunteers in Durham.

According to the campaign, none of the candidates tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
