Want to know how to best use your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch? Do you need to brush up on your skills to create great photos, videos, music and more? At any time, you can read guides to articles, buy a book, or try to teach yourself on the Internet. However, an option is available directly from your Apple Store.
Apple Stores offer free workshops on the company's key products and services. Courses include tips and tricks for using iPhone and iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, iCloud, Apple Music, and iWork. You can master topics such as editing and sharing your photos, editing movies on the Mac, and drawing and painting with the iPad. Each class is free, takes 60 or 90 minutes, and is taught by an Apple Store product expert.
Apple offers three types of classes: Skills, Labs, and Walks. The Skills classes provide basic lessons on specific products, apps, and techniques. The Labs courses are more advanced and provide interactive, hands-on training. The Walks courses are offered outside the shop to teach you how to use specific tools and technologies in the real world.
Find Today at Apple Sessions
If you want to sign up for one of the free Apple courses, visit the Apple Support Page . Scroll down the page until you see the Learn, Create and Inspire section. Click on the "Find Today at Apple sessions near you" link.
This displays the Today at Apple page. Scroll down the page to find a link under "Join free sessions in your Apple Store" to point to the general location of your nearest Apple Store. Click on this link if the location is incorrect and you want to change it.
You can select a specific Apple Store location from the drop-down menu. If you have enabled location tracking on the device, you can select the Use Current Location option. Select the Include nearby stores check box to expand your options, and then click Apply.
Sign up for a class by category
You can now search for classes based on category or date. Let's try the category first. Scroll down the page to review the various categories, including Photography, Video, Music, Encoding and Apps, Art and Design, Health and Fitness or Products. Click on the name of a workshop that interests you.
The resulting page displays the workshop description with a specific date and time for the next session. To check out different sessions, click the box that displays the date and time. The menu displays alternate sessions and may also provide a link to View More. Click the "See more" link to see all available sessions. If you see a date and time that are working, click the Select button next to it.
Apple provides instructions on the location of your class. Just click on the Calculate route link to find the best way on Apple Maps. You can make other people aware of the session by clicking the invite other link. Or spread the message via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or email.
When you're ready to take the plunge, click "Sign me" "high". Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Apple confirms your registration. Click the Add to Calendar link to generate a file that you can save in your e-mail program. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail.
Before you leave the page, scroll down to see other classes that you may be interested in. You may also like it. "Here Apple suggests workshops that are specific to the one you have selected, you can browse the recommended courses and select the courses that interest you to get more information.
Sign up for a course Date
Now let's try looking for workshops by date, which can be a handy option if you're not sure which course you want to attend or are open to a variety of topics and a session based on your availability.
On any page on the Apple Today website, click the "Calendar" heading at the top. Select a specific date at the top of the calendar page to view all workshops for that day.
 To narrow the results, click the Filter link to see only specific topics, session types, and / or times of day. Click the Show Results button to see the filtered results.
Scroll down the list of results. For a session of your interest, click the Details button to learn more and sign up. If you have already signed in to your Apple account, you will be automatically registered by clicking the Sign In button.
Viewing and Managing Reservations
Finally, you can review all the sessions that you have registered for. From any page on the Today website, click the "My Reservations" link at the top.
Alternatively, you can click the "Manage my reservations" link in any confirmation email.
On the My Reservations page, you can view each session, click the Add to Calendar link to add a session, or click Cancel Link to cancel your reservation.
