Boomerang is a staple camera feature for Instagram and its users. The idea is to record up to 20 video frames, which Instagram then processes into an endless movie that plays backwards and forwards. Since Facebook owns Instagram, it was only a matter of time before the feature hit its eponymous apps. Therefore, it is not surprising that Messenger now supports the popular camera technology.
Facebook announced on Monday, December 17, both boomerang and selfie portraits are being transferred to the Messenger app. The Boomerang feature is already available in the camera of the Facebook app. But if you do not see it in your messenger camera yet, do not worry ̵
Once acquired by Messenger, the messenger is processed and then viewed for viewing. You can add effects to your boomerang with the "Effects" button at the bottom left of the screen. Save the boomerang in your gallery by tapping "Save," add to your story by tapping "Your Story," or customize with stickers. Text or drawings with the three buttons on the top right.
When you're ready to share, tap Next. You can choose where to send the boomerang. Use the options on the screen, including your Messenger or Facebook story, or friends in Messenger. Tap Share Now to complete the process. If you want to scrap the boomerang, tap the Back button in the upper left corner.
