Over the past few days, we've been working on connecting Augmented Reality with world-class musicians. This time the music stars are showing the technique instead of integrating it into their act.
On Tuesday, Lisa and Jisoo, two members of one of the largest K-pop groups in the world, BlackPink, gave players a glimpse into the new AR features in Candy Crush Friends Saga.
The feature is called "Hungry Yeti" and allows Candy Crush Friends Saga players to interact with a character from the game via AR. In addition, owners of the new Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10 + can use their S pen stylus as a kind of AR controller.
To initialize the AR experience, players point their device at a flat surface and look at it as a virtual portal that opens and the "hungry Yeti" pops up. Making the Yeti dance is done by quickly shaking the S Pen.
