Lenovo brings Ryzen Chromebooks to the company with the ThinkPad C13 Yoga – Review Geek

ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook

We’ve seen quite a few Chromebooks that use Lenovo’s no-nonsense ThinkPad branding, but those were cheaper models for the educational market. If you̵

7;ve been craving a more conventional, more powerful ThinkPad with Chrome OS, now you have one to choose from: the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook.

Lenovo chose AMD’s 3000 platform instead of Intel for this model. The processor options range up to the Ryzen 7 3700C. The base model probably doesn’t have this processor or the 4K resolution option, a “world camera for simple snapshots on the go”, the fingerprint scanner or the optional garage pen. But it includes a 13-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6, no less than four USB ports (two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1) and a full HDMI port.

The body has touches from the yoga series, with the double-folding hinge and the marine color. However, this keyboard is everything ThinkPad, including the iconic Trackpoint mouse. If you put in an aluminum case that weighs only 3.3 pounds, you have a serious work machine (as long as you don’t need Windows programs).

The ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook will be available “soon” at a base price of $ 579.
