This helpful task is quite easy to set up. First connect your Robotic Vacuum Cleaner to your Amazon Echo ($ 70 on Amazon) and then trigger Alexa to start vacuuming. Just make sure your Robot Vac is connected to Wi-Fi for remote access. Remember, this is a remote command requesting your Amazon Echo device as a conduit, so your command sounds like "Alexa, please Roomba, vacuuming the house."

Your deebot must be at least one meter from your router. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4G wireless signal (5G is not compatible). Next, go to the Ecovacs app, tap Add Robot and follow the instructions on the screen.

1. Once the cleaning robot is connected to Wi-Fi, open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone and tap on the top of the three stacked lines.
