Microsoft today has a mess and released an internal build of Windows 10 for Windows Insiders. This build should never see the light of day, but has a new start menu theme – no live tiles.
The biggest change in the new Start Menu theme is the removal of live tiles. Tiles are no longer automatically updated with information about your email, weather, or messages. Live tiles were pioneering in Windows Phone and one of the best features of the platform. It would be sad to see that Microsoft gives up.
On the other hand, live tiles are not sufficiently used in Windows 10 The Home Screen of a Phone: How many users open their Start menu to read the information on the tiles, especially if so many desktop applications do not support live tiles at all Offer?
Microsoft has inadvertently tiled a new Start menu without live tiles. Which start menu do you like best? https://t.co/XeiHpphsVi[19659004lightboxes-How-ToGeek(@howtogeek) July 24, 2019
Note: There is no guarantee that this new launch menu will ever be released from development. Microsoft is clearly testing it, but that does not mean we'll all use it soon. Although this is the future of the Windows 10 Start menu, it's likely to get a lot more gloss before that time.
In our opinion, the best feature of the leaked Start menu is that Candy Crush is nowhere to be found.
