Microsoft has only stuffed ads in Windows 10 Mail. When will they stop?



Whether it's a pre-installation of Candy Crush Saga displaying full-screen ads on the lock screen or displaying banner ads in File Explorer, Microsoft has ads in every inch of Windows 10 written. The mail app is next received.

The ads at the top of the message list come from Microsoft. Whether you are using a Microsoft email account, such as Outlook.com, or another email service provider's account, such as Google, they will be displayed.

You can only remove these ads by paying for an Office 365 subscription. They have nothing to do with Outlook.com – they appear regardless of your email account, even if you use a work email account.

This feature is new and included only in insider builds of Windows 10 at the time. Microsoft could be A / B tests. In other words, testing ads in mail for some Windows users, but not for others, to see what the answer is (and how much money they will make.)

But even if Microsoft is testing A / B this Advertising. It's our job as Windows users to get annoyed and show Microsoft that we're not happy. Otherwise, Microsoft will slowly show ads in every inch of Windows 10 that has some free space left. Of course Microsoft could do that too if we are not satisfied.

This only shows the issues with "Windows as a Service". Microsoft would probably say that it needs this extra revenue to keep Windows up-to-date, but a lot of Windows users would prefer to have an ad-free OS rather than constant feature updates.

Remember, Windows 10 is not free! Microsoft actually charges $ 200 for licenses for Windows 10 Professional, and people paying $ 200 to do the work have to settle for Candy Crush Saga and all those other ads, exactly like all of us.

Three years ago, Satya Nadella said Microsoft wants people to love Windows. But when it's time to make hard decisions, Microsoft would rather make more money than if Windows users love the operating system we all use.
