MLB Playoffs 2020: Marlins vs Braves, A vs Astros and how to watch baseball without cables today



After an extended wild card round that included 16 teams, with the eight higher seeds hosting the best-of-three series, Major League Baseball switches to a bubble format similar to that NBA playoffs for the rest of the postseason with games in neutral locations. American League teams will play in Los Angeles and San Diego. National League teams play in Houston and Arlington, Texas. The World Series is played in Arlington in Globe Life Park, the new home of the Texas Rangers.

7;s play the Houston Astros in Los Angeles. The Astros will look for the sweep on Wednesday, while the Rays will level their streak with the Yankees on Tuesday night and look to put the Bronx Bombers in the lead tonight.

In the National League Division Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers play against the San Diego Padres in Arlington and the Atlanta Braves against the Miami Marlins in Houston. Travis d’Arnaud led the Braves in a 9-5 win on Tuesday afternoon, while a sixth inning in four runs propelled the Dodgers to a Game 1 win.

The ALCS will be on TBS and the NLCS on MLB Network, Fox and FS1. The World Series is broadcast on Fox.

How can I watch the MLB playoffs without wires?

MLB.TV is great for watching baseball games off-market during the regular season, but is less useful for following the postseason of baseball since you must be a subscriber to a participating pay-TV operator. To sweeten the deal, next year’s postseason package includes spring training games.

Another option if you’re a cable subscriber is to use the Fox Sports Go app. Unlike MLB.com at Bat, you can watch the World Series for free – for no more than you already pay for cable.
