Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals will face the boys who play for the Golden Knights of Las Vegas. (Sorry, I stopped following the NHL after my Minnesota North Stars left for Dallas in the early 1
What I do know is that expansion teams usually do not finish in the first year – and this year the Stanley Cup final will crown a historic champion in the form of the Vegas Golden extension of Knights or the suffering Washington capitals. None of the teams has ever won a Stanley Cup Final game: the Golden Knights, for this is their first season and the capitals because they made it to the finals and were swept away by the Detroit Red Wings two decades ago. I also know that occasional hockey fans, myself included, will vote for a playoff hockey when we join the last two teams. Here is how you can see:
- Game 1: Monday, May 28 at Vegas Golden Knights, 8pm ET
- Game 2: Wednesday, May 30 at Vegas Golden Knights, 20 Watch ET
- Game 3: Saturday, June 2 in Washington Capitals, 8 pm ET
- Game 4: Monday, June 4 in Washington Capitals, 8 pm ET
- * Game 5 : Thursday, June 7 at Vegas Golden Knights, 8pm ET
- * Game 6: Sunday, June 10 at Washington Capitals, 8pm ET
- * Game 7: Wednesday June 13 at Vegas Golden Knights, 8pm ET
* On Demand
