In addition to the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus today announced a new set of true wireless earbuds. The OnePlus Buds Z promises deep bass, 20 hours of playtime with its case, and fast charging in a $ 50 package. That̵

At $ 50, the OnePlus Buds Z wireless earbuds are reasonably priced, especially when compared to other entries like the $ 150 AirPods. However, OnePlus promises that despite the low price, you will still get plenty of features.

The company has deployed 10mm drivers along with “Bass Boost Technology for Heartbeat Audio”, virtualized 3D audio, Bluetooth 5.0 and an IP55 rating for sweat resistance. Despite this IP55 degree of protection, the guarantee does not cover water damage.

Unlike the original OnePlus Buds earbuds, this new set uses standard silicone tips and includes multiple sizes in the box. Of course, you also get a charging case, which should give you around 20 hours of playback time. According to OnePlus, you can only charge the buds for 10 minutes for 3 hours of audio playback.

In addition to Bluetooth 5.0, you get Google’s Fast Pair system for easy pairing and the Google Assistant built into the earbuds. OnePlus has also developed a quick switch system that lets you jump back and forth between the two most recently connected devices. All of these look great on paper, but we have to listen to our ears to know for sure.

The OnePlus Buds Z earbuds will be available in white, valued at $ 50, and in a “Steven Harrington Special Edition”. OnePlus has not yet shared the prices for the special edition set. You won’t be able to buy the earbuds until November 4th, but you can sign up to receive a notification as soon as the company publishes them on the OnePlus website.
