Personalize the Edison Mail wizard to make it work for you. «Smartphones :: Gadget Hacks



One of our most popular email apps, Edison Mail, is even better. In versions 1.17.0 (iOS) and 1.12.0 (Android), the app has introduced a new wizard, a powerful tool that makes it easy to organize travel, packages, entertainment, invoices, calendars, and more by email , The best part? You can customize it to your liking, so the wizard will work just the way you need it.

You'll probably find that Edison had an assistant in earlier iterations of the app. So, what's new here? Unlike the background of the old wizard, the updated version has its own window where you can do your various tasks. The wizard is located in the upper right corner of your e-mail viewer. However, here are not the customization settings.

To customize the wizard, tap the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner, scroll down, and tap Settings. Scroll down next and touch "Customize Wizard." Here are the six main pillars of Assistant:

Tap each column to see the options that you can customize. Turning any option on or off is as easy as tapping the switch.

Travel

In the "Travel" section, you can yelp alerts in your inbox, upcoming travel information about your reservations, weather forecasts for places you visit, check-in reminders for flights and referrals on and off. You can further customize the latter to enable or disable hotel or restaurant and activity recommendations. You can even set a list of cities to ignore.

The Packages section lets you enable or disable alerts in your Inbox, as well as details about packages you want to receive for that day.

In the "Entertainment" section, you can again disable or enable alerts in your Inbox. You can also enable or disable Event Today to view relevant tickets, reservations, or other events that happen on that day.

. 4 Invoices and Receipts

Under "Invoices and Receipts", you can enable or disable alerts for your Inbox. In addition, you can disable or enable features that show you whenever products you buy are priced lower, so you can later try to refund the difference. In the "Calendar" section you can activate or deactivate the "Today's Calendar", which provides an overview of the events of the current day.
