The preference is not available by default in the Settings app. Before the option is available, you must enable Developer Options . To do this, open the App Settings and then go to System > By Phone . Scroll down to where you see build number . Tap the build number until you're prompted for the password for your device, which unlocks developer options.
Press the Back button to exit the About Phone section, and then tap Advanced on the System page. Next, select Developer Options and then scroll down until you find Display Section below the drawing. Tap Display Crop and then select Hide .
