In recent years, the phone's displays have become larger, and the OnePlus 6T does not seem to use the entire screen by default for some games. Most games play well with the large screen of the 6T and Tear Camera, but Pokémon GO does not scale properly. Until an official solution, there is a quick workaround that can make things a little better.
If you do not know, Pokémon GO has conquered the world a few years ago with its new way as you catch our favorite critters with Augmented Reality on the go. You may be surprised to know that the game is going well and becoming more popular with constant updates. You can now trade with your friends, participate in raids, and even conduct weekly research quests to get special trainer winnings.
Enabling Pokémon GO Full Screen Mode
OnePlus offers an option on your phone to scale apps to full screen if they refuse to do so. There are two different settings that you can choose from the Standard and Full Screen options.
If you did not have legacy apps scaled correctly, you probably did not have to mess around with these settings. Most games in standard mode will fill the entire screen up to the Notch area, but strangely, Pokémon GO falls into the category of apps or games that for some reason are not scaled to the screen.
Settings> Display> Full Screen App Display> Pokémon GO
To quickly resolve this issue, navigate to the locations listed above in System Preferences. Scroll through the list of installed apps to search Pokémon GO. Tap to enable the two options above for the ad. Simply turn the game to "Full Screen" mode and tap Done.
That's all that goes with it! The next time you start the game, the entire screen with the teardrop will be displayed.
