If you want to bring some of these Pokémon to their highest form, you need to know how to get special items. There are several ways to obtain these developmental items and we will discuss everything you need to know about them.

How to Get Special Items in Pokémon Go

There are different ways to get special items like King's Rock or Metal Mantle, Dragon Scale, Ascension, Sunstone and Sinnoh Stone in the Pokémon Go . It is important to note that they are all obtained in the same way. Until Niantic changes that, there are no special methods to acquire certain evolutionary elements. Here are the best options to get these extremely rare items.

. 1 Poke Stops

Poke Stops are places around the world where you can visit and spin the medallion to get free items. You can also find them in the gym. Poke Stops are the standard method of obtaining special items in Pokémon Go but they are also one of the hardest. Chances for special items at poke stops are pretty low. They are by far the rarest element that you can get, so it can take hundreds, if not thousands, of attempts with this method.

. 2 Gifts

Another way to obtain special items in Pokémon Go is in gifts. Gifts are items that players can send to and receive from friends, as well as poke stops. Gifts are like a free poke stop and offer rewards such as special items. If you have one, be sure to send it to your friends. Maybe you will get one too.

. 3 Weekly Rewards

Another way to get special items is to reward for the week. For example, if you turn at least one poke stop a day for seven consecutive days, you will receive a weekly reward. What is the reward? Well, it's guaranteed to be a special development object. This is by far one of the simplest methods, but it requires patience, and you can only get one a week.

. 4 Field Research

Occasionally there will be new fieldwork that you must complete. These can be "number of thugs in the battle X" or "10 kilometers on foot". When you complete this research, you can sometimes receive special items. Therefore check the reward list for all new research results.

. 5 Trainer Fights

Last but not least, coaching fights are one of the best ways to get special items in Pokémon Go. Recently launched, you can now fight against your friends and NPC team leaders. You can get rewards from these battles up to three times a day for real players and once a day for NPCs. On community days, you can usually earn a lot of Sinnoh bricks when fighting with other coaches. Check on the event page, when the next one comes.
