You can press and hold the home button on an Android phone at any time to launch the Google Assistant. If you're using Android 10, you can swipe in from one of the bottom corners. However, if you don't use Google Assistant that often, you can change the app that opens with these gestures and do a lot more.
To try this, you need to have Mozilla Firefox installed and then open Search for "Standard apps" in the search settings at the top of the screen in your phone's Settings app (usually in the "Apps" menu or "Apps & Notifications"). On the "Standard Apps" screen, select "Support App", then select "Support App" on the next page and select "Firefox" from the list.
, Now either hold the start button or swipe in from a corner of your screen. Firefox opens instead of the Google Assistant. You can enter an address in a new tab in which the address bar is selected and the keyboard is open.
