Yes, Apple has addeda fantastic new screenshot tool that makes the upgrade worth the ticket price. Apple has also added a new screen capture tool. That is, instead of taking a boring screenshot and drawing with digital ink on it, you can now record and annotate your iPhone or iPad screen.
To use the new screen capture feature, you must first add the button to the function to the Control Center. Open Settings> Control Center> Customize Controls and then tap the green plus icon next to Screen Capture. For more information about what's new in the Control Center of iOS 1
Record without sound
Using the shortcut added in the Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen of your iOS device and tap the Screen Capture button. The button counts down from 3 so you have time to get to the screen you want to record. The status bar at the top of the phone screen turns red when a recording is in progress. Touch the red bar to stop recording immediately.
Tell me about when recording
Alright, but what if you want to lead someone through the use of a feature or bug that you come across again and again? If you have a 3D Touch-enabled iOS device, press the screen capture hotkey in the Control Center. If you are missing 3D Touch, a long press is enough.
A microphone audio on or off button appears just below the record button. Tap the button to turn on audio recording, and then tap Start Recording. The microphone button turns red when activated to remind you to record audio. Now iOS 11 will record with your device's microphone along with what's on the screen. Neat, right?
View and Share
When you stop recording, the video is stored in the camera roll on your device. Open the photo app to find it. You can then view, edit, and share the video just like a video recorded using the Camera app.
