A few months ago we tested the Razer Kishi, a cute little Android controller made in collaboration with GameVice. It is now especially noteworthy that streaming game services like Google Stadia and Xbox Game Pass are exploding. This makes it especially sad that the Kishi is now on the iPhone where such services are notable for their absence.

That said, the Kishi is great, and it̵

7;s great that it’s now available for the iPhone for a variety of mobile games and ports. It includes all of the standard inputs of a typical console controller, including the often elusive L3 and R3 stick-click buttons, and because of the direct Lightning connection, it doesn’t require a battery or Bluetooth.

It’s also surprisingly portable for a controller that’s so convenient that it’s about the size of a computer mouse. If you need a boost while gaming, there’s a secondary Lightning connector on the controller itself.

The iPhone version of the Kishi is more expensive than the Android version at $ 100. Also note that it is not compatible with iPads or other devices as it uses a direct connection. It works with iPhones from the latest iPhone 11 Pro Max to the iPhone 6 Plus. You can order one now.
