The display of an iPhone can become very bright, whether LCD or OLED. If you lie in bed at night or in a dark room where you do not want to disturb others visually, the brightness is even clearer. In iOS, however, there are some built-in ways to lower the brightness below the default levels for less eye strain and other reasons.
With the built-in tools that Apple provides for display brightness, you can set the screen lighting so low that the screen appears to be off to give you an idea of how dark it can get. For this reason, it is best to increase the screen brightness completely before starting with step 1. If you do not remember how to adjust the brightness of the display normally, see step 3.
: Reduce white point
These white areas on the screen are the brightness areas. Therefore, reduce the brightness of the white tones. Lower the overall display brightness below the default values. To do so, open the settings, tap on "General" and open "Accessibility". Then tap Show Accommodations and turn on Collapse White Point. When the slide appears, slide it down to 100 percent.
If you want to turn this on and off faster, go to the Accessibility settings "all the way down and tap" Accessibility shortcuts ". Then make sure that "reduce white point" is activated. Then click the Home or Page button three times, depending on your iPhone model.
If you have just turned on the "Collapse White Point" key combination, clicking it three times instantly turns it on and off. If you have activated more than one option, an action sheet is displayed. Tap Reduce White Point to turn it on or off.
Step 2: Use the low light filter
