iPhones are not immune to occasional mistakes. However, starting with the iPhone X and rebooting to fix minor issues has become a bit more cumbersome. Luckily, iOS 13 has a hidden option that greatly simplifies the process.
The old ways to restart a "notched" iPhone required that you either press keys in a specific order or use a hidden option in the settings. You can also use the keyboard shortcut to force the device to reboot, and there is the old "bold" trick and AssistiveTouch shortcut. None of it is as easy as the new way.
With iOS 13, you can now quickly restart your iPhone using voice control. If you have not set it up, go to Settings, go to Accessibility, and select Voice Control. Then tap Set up Voice Control and follow the instructions.
Now just say "Restart device" (no need to say "Hey Siri" or something first). When you do this, a command prompt appears. Just say "Tap Restart" and your phone will restart.
