Samsung's Galaxy Home HomePod killer, the next phase of Bixby's voice assistant and the company's frequently discussed phone : that's just part of what we expect the Korean Tech -Gigant today at his big event – Wednesday, November 7 – in San Francisco. Samsung completely discontinued the launch of the Galaxy Note 9 in August at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. However, this San Francisco event is more about software ̵
1; think about Apple's WWDC builds and Google. We're definitely going to talk a lot about application programming interfaces and the like, because Samsung wants to involve more third-party developers for its Bixby Digital Assistant and its Tizen smartwatch operating system. Expect more information on the intelligent Galaxy Home loudspeaker already released in Brooklyn, and maybe – maybe – just look at the next generation foldable phone.

What to Expect
Here is a summary of what Samsung is expected to discuss in San Francisco. Note that these rumors may not be confirmed.
Samsung's folding phone : It's not a clamshell, it's a clamshell phone – imagine a tablet that you fold up and put in your pocket. Whether we see a complete revelation or just enough details to get developers started, you can only guess. (We also can not … see anything.)
Galaxy Home Smart Speaker : We know it looks like a cauldron and that it uses the Bixby Voice Assistant but .. . that's it. How much is it and will it be here for the holidays? Expect Samsung to answer these questions – we hope.
More Bixby : With Apple Fights Amazon and Google – The Coke and Pepsi of the Modern Smart Home World – Samsung's Smart Assistant has done its work for it. But this sort of gathering of developers is the perfect place to introduce Big Plans for the New Year and swing for the fences.
What's not expected
Do not hold your breath. Galaxy S10 . The follow-up to the S9 is not expected before 2019. Probably codenamed "Beyond," a traditionally-designed (non-folding) phone will include an in-screen fingerprint reader and 5G options. We do not expect any mention at this year's Developer Conference – the Mobile World Congress show in February is more likely – but who knows? Maybe Samsung will tease us with something.
CNET will be live on site. Check out this story will be updated soon after the event starts with the most important details.
