(WKOW) – Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R) tested positive for coronavirus.
According to his communications director, Johnson spent 14 days in quarantine after learning that he was exposed to someone with COVID-19 on September 14. During this quarantine, he tested negative twice.
Johnson returned to Washington on September 29 and was exposed shortly thereafter to a person who has since tested positive
It was tested on Friday and the test has since come back positive. According to his office, he feels healthy and has no symptoms.
He plans to remain in isolation until the all-clear. The Senator̵
Johnson is the third GOP Senator to test positive since Friday.
