: Find Custom Ringtones
Most Android phones use the Google Contacts app to use these features. I give instructions first. However, if you have a Samsung device, skip the next section to get instructions for your phone.
For most phones, first open the Contacts app on the main screen, and then select a person whose ringtone you want to change. Tap the name once to see the details. At the top right, tap the three-point menu and select "Set ringtone". If you have multiple apps that include a ringtone picker, you'll need to choose which one to use.
If you are on a Samsung, open the Contacts app and select a person whose ringtone you want to change. At the bottom of the next screen, tap Edit, then scroll to the bottom of the next page and click Show More. Scroll down again and tap "Ringtone". Then press "Allow" when prompted to give the contact app access to your store.
The ringtone selection app should appear and list all available ringtones. Just find a ringtone you like and click "Save" to save the changes.
You may be able to use only the default ringtones that came with your phone at the beginning, but you can use your own custom ringtones as Good. If you download Zedge, Next SMS, or Chomp SMS, all of them are equipped with custom ringtones, which appear as options when you repeat step 1.
Done! Do the same for all the other important contacts, and you're done in no time. Be creative while you're there – think about your individual personalities and try to assign a ringtone to each one of them. Once you get used to the idea of custom ringtones, you can easily identify that person.
