So watch Ray's 2019 baseball without a cable

The Tampa Bay Rays are awake again! The team missed the postseason last year despite winning 90 games to break a series of four consecutive defeats. They employ the current Cy Young award winner Blake Snell and have surrounded him with young offensive talents like Austin Meadows, Brandon Lowe and Yandy Diaz. Expect the Rays to be a thorn in the side of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees throughout the season.

Rays fans, who also happen to be cable TV cable cutters, have a number of ways to watch the Rays, whether you're in Tampa or an out-of-market supporter of the club.

Rays streaming out of the market

If you're a Rays fan and live outside Tampa, you can not see the rays on Fox Sports Sun. However, you can stream your games live with an MLB.TV subscription.

You have two options:

  • Pay $ 119 per year (or $ 25 per month) to watch any out-of-market live or on-demand games and the In Market Team (Home Team) with a 90-minute delay from the end of the game.
  • Pay $ 92 a year to see a single out-of-market team. In this case, the Rays and no one else.

Both MLB.TV plans also include home and away radio broadcasts. The radio broadcasts are not subject to the blackout rule, so you can watch the home matches live.
