Sony gives Spider-Man a new augmented reality home via iPhone & Android apps «Mobile AR News :: Next Reality

Fans of the friendly Spider-Man area have another chance to experience the web slinger in Augmented Reality.

To advance the forthcoming release of Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 4, Sony Pictures has released a mobile app for iOS and Android, the Spider-Man about Augmented Reality in its own home brings the fans.

The AR Suit Explorer section of the app uses the surface recognition capabilities of ARKit and ARCore to present Spider-Man in his new red-and-black suit debuting in the film. And when Spider-Man shows up, he does some tricks, such as weaving the user's camera, taking a selfie with his smartphone and dangling from the ceiling.

With any AR model user You can scale the size and rotate the figure, as well as move the 3D content in real space. The red and blue suit also includes hotspots that allow users to view additional details about the suit. Users can also take snapshots and videos of the AR experience to share with others.

In addition, the app offers some other digital extras like the trailer of the movie, photos and videos of Peter Parker's cell phone, a camera with 2D filters, and a gallery of gifs and stickers for messaging purposes. In addition, users in the app will find options to buy tickets for the movie and the Blu-Ray or DVD of the movie's predecessor, Spider-Man: Homecoming .

With Courtesy of Trigger, the full-fledged ad agency that has developed digital marketing for every Spider-Man movie since the original trilogy, the app is actually a redesigned version of the app designed to promote Spider-Man: Homecoming was started.

The agency also developed AR experiences for the Holo app and 8th Wall's web-based AR platform to promote Spider-Man movies.

Because the Wall Crawler was not included in the Marvel Playmoji package for the Playground app on Google Pixel devices (along with other popular Marvel heroes), due to some Thanos snaps shenanigans), the new app features To fans, a more rounded universe of characters to play in their physical spaces.

But where are all the experiences with DC Comics AR? Maybe fans should submit a petition to Warner Bros. to stop triggers and bring Superman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League to Augmented Reality.
