Sony Xperia 5 II Rumors Summary – 3 Cameras Plus a Headphone Jack? «Android :: Gadget Hacks

Although Sony has been making great phones for years, Sony continues to struggle to break into the US market. Sales volume has declined year on year, with 2019 limited to just 5 million units sold worldwide. To mitigate this decline, Sony released the Xperia 5 last year, the return to compact smartphones. Rumor has it that a sequel comes first this year.

Last year Sony started the year with three phone versions: Xperia 1, 10 and 10 Plus. Only the 1 was a flagship, but with its 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED panel, it was priced at nearly $ 1,000. When Sony heard the outcry, it released the Xperia 5, a smaller phone that uses a 1080p OLED panel to save nearly $ 200.

Earlier this year, rumors began surfacing of a possible sequel to the Xperia 5, known as the Xperia 5 Plus. The main selling point was five cameras and a headphone jack. However, no new information was released about this phone during the year until AndroidHeadlines finally revealed information about the actual successor to the Xperia 5, the Xperia 5 II. While some of the specs have changed for the aforementioned Xperia 5 Plus, besides the camera, it has improved in most areas.
