Changing the title image of a playlist on your phone is not an option anchored in the mobile app itself, but it is still possible.

Unfortunately, this trick is currently only available to iPhone users because the Android version of Spotify does not allow this. You can edit playlists beyond a simple name change. If you're using Android, you can use an App like "Change playlist image – Spotify" to sign in through a third party.

On an iPhone, you can only make changes The image of a playlist on album art that's already in the playlist, or an album art that you add to the playlist by adding an appropriate song.

To create a completely different image, z emotion you can do this on Spotify for Desktop. Open the playlist in the desktop app, click on the cover of the playlist and select "Select Image" when hovering over the cover and follow the instructions. If you only want a quick fix for your iPhone, change the cover design as follows:

Step 1
: Add the title or album to your playlist

The number of different albums in your playlist determines which type of playlist Picture you will see. If you have only one, two, or three different albums in your playlist, one of the covers on this album is the cover for your playlist. However, if there are four or more different albums, the image of the playlist will be displayed in a grid of four different album covers that will be downsized.

Regardless of what type of playlist image you have or want – an album cover or four – the album with The desired cover must be in your playlist. If so, go to step 2. Otherwise, find the title or album you want to add.

For a title in a list view on the right, tap the ellipsis (•••) icon (Premium only) or the top right of the Now Playing screen. Select an album first, and then click the ellipsis points in the top right corner (Premium only). Next, select "Add to playlist" and then the playlist you want to change the picture for or "New playlist" to create a new playlist.

The playlist image automatically changes to the new one. Click Done in the top right corner to save your changes.

For playlists with four or more different albums, do the same thing: drag and drop titles, but in the order you want. The first four album art covers are the four that appear in your playlist image. The first is in the upper left position, the second in the upper right position, the third in the lower left position and the fourth in the lower right position.
